We're here to TAME the creative industries, and open the door for everyone else.

TAME Studios is a Community Interest Company (CIC) creating live experiences and stories across weddings and events, musical theatre, TV and film as well as games. Each strand feeds the others: the planning, performance and storytelling behind a wedding are the same skills behind a stage show or a screen production. Everything we do has one purpose: creating real opportunities for people who have been shut out of the creative sector.

As a CIC, any profit we make goes back into that mission, not into shareholders' pockets.

Our Stories & Values

We started as TAME Events, planning, performing at and capturing weddings. Every wedding is a live production: a cast, a crew, a running order and one chance to get it right. Those are the same skills that power theatre, TV and games, and they became the foundation for everything we do now.

TAME Studios was born because the employability industry was failing. We saw too many talented people pushed through schemes that ticked boxes but never led anywhere. So we brought our production experience to the problem, and set out to explore what creative education could look like when it's built around real work.

We've always been driven by one thing: creating opportunities for others. Our name is also our set of values:

  • T – Talent over background. Where you come from should never decide where you can go.

  • A – Access for all. We remove the barriers that keep people out of the creative industries.

  • M – Made together. We co-design our work with the people it's for, not just for them.

  • E – Equipped for the future. Every project builds real skills, confidence and routes into work.

Our Goal

Our ambition is to become an education provider, offering apprenticeships and other training routes into the creative industries.

Talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn't. Too many people from lower socio-economic backgrounds are shut out of creative careers by unpaid placements, expensive courses and "who you know" networks. We want to change that.

By combining real studio work with recognised training, we'll create pathways that:

  • Let people earn while they learn, so money is never the barrier

  • Give hands-on experience on real productions, not just classroom theory

  • Offer mentoring and support from people who understand where they've come from

  • Lead to recognised qualifications and genuine routes into work

We're building the opportunities we wish had existed, for the people who deserve them most.

Talia Maysey – Founder, Community & Participation

Talia has spent several years working in third sector organisations, championing the voices of young people and communities. She pioneered our first musical, Unheard Voices, Unbroken Spirits, co-designed with care-experienced young people from the very first idea to the final performance. As a director at a theatre company offering affordable arts training to children from all walks of life, she has seen first-hand how creativity can change lives.

For the last three years, Talia has also worked as a Wedding Content Creator and Event Planner. She has been a performer, director, producer and coordinator, and brings a background in marketing and a natural gift for storytelling. You'll usually find Talia on the ground and on the front line of our projects. Her energy is infectious, and she inspires everyone she works with to bring their best. At TAME, Talia leads our community work and makes sure the people we work with shape everything we create.

The Partners

TAME Studios is led by two partners who bring together the two sides of what we do: education and community.

Oskar Langley – Director, Education & Creative Industries

Oskar is an award-winning educator with a passion for opening up creative careers. In January 2026 he was named Lecturer of the Year at SAE Institute Glasgow. He also developed the first year of curriculum for the UK's first Game Art Apprenticeship programme, helping to shape a brand-new route into the games industry.

Before teaching, Oskar worked at MPG, an outsourcing studio creating art for AAA games studios, and built a strong background in Game Art and Animation. He brings that real industry experience into everything we teach. At TAME, Oskar is our behind-the-scenes logistics lead, making sure every project runs smoothly so the creativity can take centre stage. He also leads our work in education, skills and pathways into creative employment.

Weddings are where TAME began, and they sit side by side with our theatre, TV and games work. A wedding is a live production in every sense, and the same team, skills and care go into your day as go into our shows. From intimate ceremonies to big celebrations, we make every moment count.

  • Planning & coordination: from the first idea to the final dance, so you can enjoy every moment

  • Content creation: behind-the-scenes photos, videos and reels that capture the day as it really felt

  • Performance & entertainment: performers, hosts and hype that get everyone on their feet
